Carl Caylor

This program will take you on a discovery of Natural Light and the "F-Word" from the open scene you walk up to… all the way to a finished portrait.

Carl will dissect many different images to share what he has found to be successful. Carl’s goal is to open your mind to the thought process that goes on when creating an image. He will discuss light, posing within the light, color harmony, composition, and more. Using his own images, Carl will show you how the normal client sees an image. This will help you create what they will like and increase your sales. When you leave this program, you will find new backgrounds in places you would normally walk by on a daily basis. You will see usable light, depth and dimensions like never before. You will understand how to work without strobes. You will know how to use psychology to your advantage. Yes. It is a lot to take in, but you can’t help but learn with the real stories and straight forward explanations of each and every detail.

Carl Caylor is a down-to-Earth, Portrait photographer and photographic instructor. He has been professionally involved in the field of photography for over 25 years. Carl is a Kodak Alaris Mentor.
