Photoshop Techniques To Improve Your Images with David Downs

A hands on class in techniques to improve your images using Photoshop and Adobe Camera Raw. I will share steps in my process to produce quality images for sale and show. Designed for those who are relatively new to Photoshop but have a general understanding of the tools and use of layers in the editing process. We will focus on efficient workflow, use of smart objects, simple composites, blend modes, generative tools and more.
David holds his CPP, his Masters and is a PPA Juror in Training. He sits on the PPA Council and was recently appointed to the ByLaws Action Team for PPA. He speaks regularly to clubs and art associations regarding artistic vision, image competitions and more. He teaches PPA Workshops in the spring and fall covering a broad variety of topics. David is the owner of David Downs Photography providing portrait and commercial photography services to north texas companies and ad agencies. Through his photography education firm, Benton Downs Photography, he teaches classes in editing, creative photography and leads workshops around the country focused on wildlife and landscape photography.
