DALLAS PPA offers membership in the
following categories:
A Full Member is a photographer (Full-time or Part-time), studio owner, or studio manager engaged in photography. The only criteria to join our community as a full member is that you love photography and would like to network with fellow photographers in the DFW area. Full members may vote, hold office, serve on committees, and enter the print competition. Full members receive newsletters and emails and are listed on the Dallas PPA website. ASSOCIATE MEMBERS There is an Associate membership option for a non-photographer spouse or non-photographer staff member of a current full member. Associate members may not vote or hold office, but may serve on committees. Associate members receive newsletters and emails, but are not listed on the Dallas PPA website. |
A Signature Partner (vendor) member is a manufacturer or supplier of photography-related products or services and/or their authorized representative. Vendors that provide services that directly compete with PPA/TPPA/DPPA-affiliated events (i.e. workshops, seminars, etc.) will not be accepted as partner members. Signature Partner (vendor) members may not vote or hold office, but may serve on committees and are listed on the Dallas PPA website. |
STUDENT MEMBERS
A Student member is a full-time student preparing for a career in photography or graphic arts, and currently attending a college or approved vocational or technical school. Students applying must submit a copy of their school ID and registration, the name of the instructor, and course title. Students attend monthly meetings for no additional charge. They may not vote or hold office, but may serve on committees and enter print competition for feedback, but are not eligible for awards. Aspiring Student members receive newsletters and emails, but are not listed on the Dallas PPA website. |
