Beautiful maternity photography is about more than flattering light—it’s about creating images that make clients feel beautiful, connected, and deeply invested in the experience. Join Lindsay Walden for a hands-on maternity lighting class designed to help photographers create greater variety, emotion, and impact using strobes. Working with a live model, Lindsay will demonstrate some of her favorite lighting techniques for creating polished, luxury maternity portraits—from soft and flattering to dramatic and artistic. You’ll see how thoughtful changes in lighting can completely transform the mood of an image, allowing you to create a diverse gallery for your client without relying on complicated setups.

Lindsay will also share how she uses lighting intentionally to elevate the client experience and create images that feel worthy of luxury-level products and pricing.

Lindsay Walden is an award-winning and internationally featured fine art photographer based in Colleyville, Texas, specializing in luxury maternity, newborn, and portrait photography. With more than 16 years of experience, Lindsay is known for creating innovative, artful imagery paired with an elevated, highly personalized client experience.

A passionate educator, Lindsay has mentored hundreds of photographers from around the world, teaching both the artistic and business sides of building a successful luxury photography brand. In 2027, she will be a speaker at Imaging USA and a week-long instructor at Texas School of Professional Photography. Lindsay loves helping photographers strengthen their artistry, elevate their client experience, and build businesses that are both creatively and financially rewarding.

Is it because they edit better than most, they win the most awards, they have the best equipment, or the prettiest models? But, what about amongst their peers. What makes them stand out when everyone edits great, or has nice equipment or works with pretty models? In this program, I will share with you three methods that I use to create dynamic images using lighting, color and lens choice.

Hi, I’m Joe Baker, a portrait photographer based in Lubbock, Texas. I focus on high school and college graduates, modeling portfolios, professional headshots, and family photos. I love using off‑camera flash and it lets me unleash my creativity and helps my images standout from the crowd. Besides taking photos, I also run workshops, mentor, and educate photographers who want to elevate their craft. My goal is to help everyone be at their best whether they are in front of my camera or if I am teaching another photographer.
