Mandy Lynn Lundy

Since beginning her career in professional photography in 2008, Mandy Lynn Lundy of Muskogee, Oklahoma has gained a lot of attention.  In 2012’s Professional Photographers of Oklahoma conference, her first competition, Mandy nabbed First Place and a Kodak Gallery Award in the Commercial category along with Best Portrait of a Man. That entry went on to win Loan Collection Awards as well.  Proving that her first year’s first showing was not a fluke, in 2013 Mandy once again wowed a panel of distinguished national and international photographic judges with her work by again taking Best Portrait of a Man, Best Illustrated/Unclassified, Best of Show and the ultimate, “Oklahoma Photographer of the Year.”

Seen often around the Muskogee community with a camera in her hand, Mandy has most recently been backstage at numerous local events such as covering shows for the Swon Brothers, from NBC’s The Voice, often documenting for local and regional newspapers and magazine publications.  Her work goes beyond simple documentary images as she tries to find a way to tell a unique and true story with every assignment.

This past year Mandy moved into a beautiful “north light” studio in Muskogee. Here she captures  high school seniors, compelling images for women, and scores of magazine and commercial portraits.  Here on-location work has become more and more in demand.
