About the DPPA
|
The Dallas Professional Photographers Association is an organization affiliated with the
Professional Photographers of America. The organization was established to elevate the
standards of professional photography, to promote and have good fellowship among it's
members. It is also to serve Dallas and the surrounding territory with the finest professional
photography services possible.
We are also to plan, organize and promote better public relations between the
DPPA and the general public. The organization has nine board of director positions chosen
from active membership list. We have a membership roll of approximately 200. The association
meets the second Tuesday of each month at a local establishment for dinner and a program.
We do not meet at the regular day/ place in December or September. We have several different
levels for those interested in joining the organization.
The organization also provides ongoing educational opportunities for any member interested in
attending. A fall seminar held outside of Dallas is scheduled during September and in the Spring
we also offer a day seminar.
